What makes these air fryers so good? Well before we get into these Pro Breeze air fryer reviews, here’s a comparison of the two models we’re featuring:
Pro Breeze Air Fryer Comparison
Pro Breeze Air Fryer Reviews
Pro Breeze XL Air Fryer Review
The Pro Breeze XL Air Fryer uses advanced hot air technology to cook a wide variety of foods in a fraction of the time compared to conventional methods. An internal element quickly reaches temperatures of up to 200 degrees Celsius, then a powerful cyclone of air moving at incredible speed distributes the heat throughout the frying basket to evenly cook food.
The system requires virtually no fat or oil, ensuring your meals are healthy and full of appetising flavour. For convenience, the non-stick basket is easy to wipe clean or place in a dishwasher.
As the larger of the two models in these Pro Breeze Air Fryer reviews, the XL offers greater versatility when cooking for larger groups. The 5.5 litre capacity of the frying basket is approximately one third larger than the compact 4.2 litre model. It provides more space, accommodating a whole chicken or several lamb chops with ease.
The oval LCD display in the centre of the air fryer is easy to navigate thanks to its touchscreen capabilities. There are seven preset programs, but to suit individual preferences, such as choosing rare or well-done steak, you can manually adjust the temperature and increase the cooking time up to sixty minutes.
The XL air fryer has a robust 1800W motor, weighs 5.3kg and measures 381x371x311cm. Safety-wise, it includes an automatic safety system to guard against overheating and an auto-resume feature to continue cooking once the temperature is at the correct level.
- Generous 5.5 litre capacity
- Family-sized meals
- Powerful 1800W
- Dishwasher safe basket
- Pre-programmed cooking times
- Rear vent becomes very hot
- Heavy to move
Pro Breeze 4.2L Air Fryer Review
The Pro Breeze 4.2 has exactly the same advanced hot air system as the 5.5 version. The only difference is the cyclonic mechanism is driven by a less powerful 1400W motor. However, the 4.2’s performance is unimpaired as it still reaches the same limits of between 80 and 200 degrees Celsius.
It achieves identical, rapid cooking times of just twenty minutes to fry chips and baking a cake in forty minutes. With no oil or fat required, meals cooked in the 4.2 will have the same health profile as if they were cooked in the XL air fryer.
The 4.2 litre has an identical non-stick, dishwasher safe frying basket with a ventilation grille. The basket’s diameter of 20cm and depth of 4cm makes it up to one-third smaller than the XL model. This air fryer should be more than adequate for single portions or meals for much smaller families.
The LCD display panel is circular instead of oval, but its operation is just as easy, with the same touch screen format, providing a simple one-click choice of seven preset programs. You even have full manual control as with the XL over the length of cooking times and temperature to ensure you can adapt foods to be cooked to your individual taste.
An automatic safety feature protects the air fryer from overheating and restarts once the temperature has stabilised. The compact 4.2 measures 332x343x292cm, making it an ideal choice for kitchen worktops where space is limited. And with a weight of just 4.7kg, it’s also much easier to move than the XL.
- Ideal for small families (1-3 people)
- Dishwasher safe
- Auto shutoff
- Less powerful 1400W
